Generally speaking, we naturally incline toward self-correction. Yet there are times when even the most competent, accomplished and intelligent individuals experience psychological and emotional distress or confusion in their lives and relationships. We are able to sense when it’s time to seek counsel.
We may experience a loss, a major life shift, or a health complication and symptoms of anxiety, depression, grief and panic may arise. Other times we may feel stuck, confused and disoriented. My work with individuals concentrates on these current challenges and impediments. My approach is collaborative and strength based, concentrating on accountability and personal growth. I use mindfulness, awareness, psycho-education and skills building to help my clients increase personal insight and their ability to manage emotions. From a more aware, centered and balanced place we can most effectively navigate our unique life challenges.
